KJOC Church

A fully design and build project by Konan Design Sdn. Bhd. Located in a penthouse of a commercial office building in Kelana Jaya. This new 6500 square feet replaces the old existing KJOC church nearby where it exceeded its current capacity for the churchgoers. The design of this church is heavily Inspired by Gothic churches from the 12th to 16th century, where huge pillars is one of the prominent elements in churches of that period. Therefore we took the pillars as an inspiration, which symbolize the pillar as the corner stone for Christian’s spiritual life, strength and faith. We implement the pillar concept into the stage backdrop wall.
Other than that, the altar on the stage is not only a prominent design at the church but also acts as a focal point of the building and this gives a deep meaning to the structure that is designed.
